Hebrews 11:16-18

¹⁶ But now, they aspire to a better country, that is, a ^(A)heavenly one. Therefore ^(B)God is not ^[a]ashamed to be ^(C)called their God, for ^(D)He prepared a city for them.

¹⁷ By faith ^(E)Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had ^(F)received the promises was offering up his only son, ¹⁸ to whom it was said, “^(G)In Isaac your seed shall be called.”
